Esta semana os traigo mi top de novedades de Septiembre...La sesión es muy variopinta, desde lo más soulful(Soul Addiction - Let it go...ATENCIÓN con esta canción), hasta un poco de chillhouse (Blaze - The Yoga song), pero siempre siguiendo mi línea. De este set destaco a Timmy Vegas & Seamus Haji. Han hecho una canción con un piano espectacular. Os llevaréis una sorpresa con Afromento feat Antonio El Remendao. Os saldrá la vena flamenca a la primera...Jaja. Bueno, espero que lo disfrutéis.

Después de varios meses sin utilizar el podcast, debido a las vacaciones veraniegas, que han sido muy buenas debido a que he estado pinchando en el Montgo di bongo (Javea, España), vuelvo de nuevo con muchísimas novedades que me han dejado con la piel de gallina. Esta vez, debido al reclamo de algunos, he hecho una sesión para que se pueda reproducir en el coche, en la minicadena, etc...Destacar el remix de GUY ROBIN, productor londinense de 19 años, afiliado a Defected Records...Mi canción preferida de toda esta sesión es la número 11, "The Freddy Turner Project feat Three Kings - Spread Love (Danny Krivit concise edit)", luego también está Voices of 6th Avenue, que remixean a Michael Jackson en "man in the mirror", o Rocco & Danny Marquez, que hacen lo propio con "Billie Jean". Hola de nuevo!!! Espero que os estén gustando las sesiones! Hoy, miércoles 15 de julio, he conocido lo que es sentirse "liberado". La razón, me han dicho mi última nota de la carrera, y por fin, soy Licenciado!!!!! Para ello, como no lo he celebrado con una sesión que me gustaría compartir con vosotros titulada "Summer life". La he titulado así porque es una sesión que denota que estamos en verano, con una buena puesta del sol, las chicas con el pareo y su bikini, reluciendo la piel morena de tomar el sol. Un par de mojitos, muy buen rollo de la gente, y mientras el sol se va poniendo...Jajajaja. En fin, es completamente distinta. La calificaría de Soulful mezclado con un poco de deep. He tirado también de un par de clásicos como la canción que suena de "intro". También, Marvin Gaye, con un remix espectacular de Kerri Chandler(ojo con las canciones de este productor del Bronx, NY). Como siempre, he dejado caer algún par de canciones de mi productor preferido, Vick Lavender. De este set me quedo con las canciones nº 6 y 13.

El pasado 5 de julio, domingo, tuvo lugar la primera fiesta del verano "We love sundays". Se celebró en una terraza, a mi parecer, insuperable, para Valencia, como es 39º 27N. Ahí estuve yo pinchando desde las cinco y media de la tarde hasta las diez sin parar. La experiencia, fue muy positiva, ya que a ratos, me acompañó como saxofonista Alberto. Un tipo muy peculiar pero muy simpático. Agradecer a Sandra y a Paul la confianza depositada en mí. Me lo pasé muy bien, y lo más importante, disfruté como un enano poniendo lo que quería. También quiero agradecer a todos aquellos que acudisteis a verme. Espero que lo pasárais un buen rato! Vino más gente de la que pensaba, y me alegró mucho veros a todos los que vinisteis...
Por ello, he hecho una sesión encaminada en lo que estuve poniendo durante el domingo, y que pondré en próximas fiestas que ya os iré informando a todos con antelación.
De esta sesión destaco Uncle James feat Tony Marino - The Godfather, y, Musiq Soulchild feat Mary J Blidge - If U leave me. Para mí, los dos pelotazos de este set.
Ya estamos dentro de verano, así que espero que tengáis unas felices vacaciones, merecidas, y descansad...Sed buenos. Un abrazo!

Ayer tuve más tiempo para escuchar más música y decidí recopilar las novedades, aunque también he dejado caer algún que otro clásico como Armand Van Helden - The Funk Phenomena o Monoman - Retrovisions, que creo que a más de uno le gustará. En esta sesión me he permitido el lujo de poner un poco de más House Deep, y atención especial a 3 Amigos feat Stromz - Opera House. Una canción que dará mucho que hablar. Otro tema que está empezando a despegar es Ron Hall & Thommy Davis - Funky Casanova. Buen ritmo y buenos tambores...De todas estas canciones mezcladas, me quedo con Roy Ayers - Brand New Feeling (Sting International Controversy). Para mí, un temazo como una casa. Espero que os estén gustando el resto de sesiones que voy colgando, siempre quiero dar lo máximo y estoy pegado a los auriculares porque simplemente, me encanta la música, y ver que los demás disfrutan.

Seguimos con más novedades de Junio, ya en pleno tiempo veraniego, donde a más de uno le apetecerá una cervecita, o su mojito en un sofá, tomando el sol y oyendo buena música. Destaco sobre todo el primer tema, DJN project, que me ha sorprendido bastante(la verdad, me encanta) y he metido también a un productor de Chicago llamado Vick Lavender ,que me vuelve loco, que tiene siempre su toque peculiar en sus canciones metiendo mucha trompeta y jugando mucho con la percusión, junto con su inseparable cantante Carla Prather. A destacar también, Ali King, cantante estadounidense al alza de R&B. Mi canción preferida de la sesión es Ali King - Losing my mind. Espero que lo disfrutéis.
